The paved hardstand solution for this project was Westrac’ s preferred choice.  They tried other solutions in the past but found paving provided the maintenance flexibility over other products. This project was designed for heavy vehicle traffic – up to a D11 Dozer which weighs approximately 105 tonnes with steel tracks.

Prior to being awarded the works, ACP Hardstand Solutions were required to meet with our client in New South Wales to discuss the project at length and present our capabilities to ensure we were the correct contractor for the project.

ACP Hardstand Solutions completed the project in 4 months during one of the wettest spells that New South Wales had experienced in 80 years.  We were committed to our client, finishing our works on time and within budget to the highest standard of workmanship.  To avoid any time blow out on the project, we worked mostly 7 days per week.   The product specified was transported from Brisbane and delivered over 800km to site.  We were using up to a dozen trucks daily and moving product to holding areas with our forklift to ensure there was no downtime lost on the project.

We operated up to 3 paving machines at one time on site with a total workforce of 10-12 people to lay the scheduled quantity per day ensuring our time commitments were met.  During the project stringent safety procedures were followed resulting in no time lost through injury or near misses.

The Westrac Facility project ran smoothly due to regular contact with our client.  If we identified any potential problems looming, they were appropriately rectified without any loss of time.
